The Golden Warriors won the under-13 category, while the Rockers won the under-17 category of the Scotia Bank junior hockey tournament which concluded on Sunday at the National Gymnasium.
The two-day tournament featured six teams, three in each category playing in the round robin format.
The Golden Warriors and the Night Riders met in the U-13 final which was won by the former 2-0.
In the U-17 final Rockers defeated Night Riders also by a 2-0 margin.
The teams were mixed with boys and girls according to their various ages and at the conclusion of the competition Shaqueel Assanah and Danielle Harry were adjudged male and female MVPs respectively.
The tournament was sponsored by Scotia Bank and coordinated by Marc King of the Guyana Hockey Board.
