BV/Triumph United, Victoria Kings face off in key clash

Defending champions BV /Triumph United and Victoria Kings will face off from 6pm this evening as play in the East Coast Demerara Football Association (ECDFA)/ Mackeson Stout-sponsored Premier League continues at the Plaisance Community Centre Ground.

In the feature game, home team Plaisance will be looking to impress their fans, when they take on Golden Grove’s Golden Stars from 2000hrs.

BV/Triumph and Victoria Kings always play tough football and are considered  as the two best teams on the East Coast Demerara.

The Kings are in good form and from judging their victory over Golden Stars last Thursday, seem to be good shape.

Despite having drawn all three of their league games so far, BV /Triumph will be looking to silence the critics, some of whom have said that they would  not be able to retain the crown they won last year.
Victoria Kings will be looking to their inspirational skipper and play maker Andrew Holder to guide them to victory in this encounter. He will receive support from the skillful and dangerous Orin Elias, Calvin De Souza and striker Seon David.

BV/Triumph will be led by the very skillful Delroy Deane who has so far scored three goals in the tournament in the striking line. He is expected to receive support from David Hooker and the attacking Shawn “Berbician” Daniels.

In the feature game Golden Stars will take on Plaisance at 20:00 hrs and they will be led by Quacy Halley who will receive valuable support from Randy King, whilst the veteran Owen Adonis will perform duties as their custodian. Not much can be said about the Plaisance team, but it is expected that they will be looking to create an upset.
