Young Warriors constructing pavilion

The Young Warriors Cricket Club in East Canje, Berbice is at present constructing a pavilion at its home ground at Cumberland, East Canje.

The pavilion which will be equipped with two dressing rooms and a conference hall, measuring some 40ft x 30 ft with a 40ft x 20 ft extension for seating accommodation, has received some generous donations from members of the public and the government which donated $1M.

However the programme has hit a snag due to the shortage of funds and the club is appealing to  other members of the public to come forward and assist in enabling the completion of this worthy and timely venture.
