Gunmen converged on a Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara home on Thursday morning and after attacking a businesswoman, escaped with a quantity of jewellery, cash and groceries.
Police said in a release that they are investigating the armed robbery which occurred around 3:45 am during which Karen McIntosh was attacked.
The release added that investigations have revealed that McIntosh was awakened by noise in her home and was confronted by the two men who tied her up.
