With one eye missing and a broken arm, a man who was mercilessly beaten and robbed two weeks ago is still a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
Stabroek News understands that Mazum Ally was robbed, beaten and dumped at the corner of a street at a heavily populated section of Enmore Estate, East Coast Demerara.
When this newspaper visited the man yesterday he explained that the police were presently addressing the matter and he was advised by them not to comment about it.
