Sheik Promotions in association with the Guyana Softball League (GSL) will host a Floodlight Softball Competition tonight at the Ogle Community Centre ground.
Some 16 top teams from around the Demerara area will battle for honours.
In addition, there will be also be two exhibition matches with Coomacka Queens taking on Uitvlugt Queens in a female encounter while the Industry Super Kings will take on Rangers Masters XI in an over-40 match.
The winner of the competition will receive $100,000 plus a trophy and the runners-up will get $40,000 plus a trophy. Individual prizes such as Man-of-the-Match, Best Bowler and Best Batsman are also up for grabs.
