Police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for Khrishna Teekadharry, a prison escapee who has been on the run since Thursday August 13.
In the accompanying statement, police said Teekadharry was serving two three-year concurrent prison terms for discharging a loaded firearm with intent and for wounding. The prison term began on January 27 this year.
The bulletin said Teekadharry of number 70 Village Corentyne Berbice is 30 years old, of East Indian descent, brown in complexion and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.
