Courts Guyana Inc. donated $70,000 including trophies to the Guyana Amateur Body Building and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) yesterday in a short handing over ceremony.
This was done in support of tomorrow’s Senior National Body Building and Fitness Championships which will be held at the National Cultural Centre.
President of GABBFF Frank Tucker said he was grateful for the company’s support towards the development of bodybuilding in Guyana.
“I’m glad that Courts has come on board and they have been generous to donate cash and trophies to the federation. I must say I’m pleased about this donation and would like to thank Courts for their tremendous support.”
The trophies sponsored are Miss Guyana Fitness, Miss Guyana Overall, the Mr. Guyana 166 to 175 kg category, the under 165 category and the overall winners in the male and female categories.
Gym members from Georgetown, Linden, Berbice and West Demerara are set to take the stage to display some of the best gym bodies in the country at the National Cultural Centre tomorrow evening.
The eventual winners of the individual male and female categories will represent Guyana at the Caribbean and Central American Body Building Championships in Grenada.
