Rip It adds fuel to Motor Racing Championships

Gouviea will be competing in the 2B category driving his Starlet, Lopes will be astride his Honda CRF 250X bike competing in the 125 middleweight 250cc class and Ali will be driving in the go-cart category.  Brock in a statement explained that the company was approached by the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) for the manufacturer of the product to contribute in a tangible to the event. He said that while the amount was not what he had bargained for initially, the local company was able to secure sponsorship for a “small team as a preliminary sponsorship.” Brock also stated that since this is the first time the foreign company is sponsoring a local sporting event, it will be sponsoring a Group Four category race. He hailed the Brand Manager of the American company Miguel Abril for the company’s generosity to the event, which will receive international recognition.

He elaborated, “Taking into consideration the general cost of racing a vehicle, we hope that that the Rip It Company will see this and carry this team for the long haul.”  The event will see racers from here and overseas converging on the South Dakota Circuit on Sunday.
