Clico application halts ruling on winding-up

–claims bias, wants CJ off case Acting Chief Justice Ian Chang was set to rule yesterday in the Clico (Guyana) case, which has dragged out in the High Court for almost a year, but the company managed to secure an interim order to stay the proceedings.

Full board for LEAP successor yet to be named

As December comes to a close, it marks the end of the management aspect of the Linden Economic Advancement Programme (LEAP) under Belgium company TRANSTEC but the full board of the successor entity to operate the credit facility and the programmes that LEAP leaves behind, is still to be named.
