Bishops’ High School outstanding as Business School TT tourney climaxes

Bishops’ High School was adjudged the most outstanding school when the curtain came down on the National Sports Commission and Guyana Table Tennis Association three category tournament sponsored by the Business School of Brickdam.

Bishops’ High, spearheaded by Jamaal Duff and Chelsea Edghill, who played in the U13, U15 and U18 categories and Denzel Duff, who played in the U15 and U18 categories reached all three finals winning two and losing one.

In a straight fight against Mae’s Secondary School, Bishops’ High won the U13 and U15 categories by 3-0 margins and lost the U18 final by a 1-3 score.

Denzel Duff was adjudged the most outstanding player of the tournament while Queen’s College’s Sachin Panday who scored upset wins over Dillon Mahadeo and Stephan Patoir was voted the most improved player on the male side and Edghill, the most improved female player.
