Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) light heavyweight champion Shawn Corbin will clash with Leon ‘The Lion’ Gilkes in an exhibition bout on the eighth Pro-Am boxing card tomorrow night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH).
Corbin, who will be arriving in Guyana today, has expressed his intention to fight in a four-round exhibition bout against Gilkes, who has six wins from his 21 professional fights. The Guyanese, who resides in Barbados, has a record 14 wins from his 16 fights with two losses against Karo Murat and Tito Mendoza.
Corbin defeated Cleveland Fraser by a fifth round TKO at the Central Indoor Regional Auditorium, Chaguanas, Trinidad & Tobago for his CABOFE title.
