Fogarty’s hosts presentation ceremony for ‘Back to School’ winners

Fogarty’s Supermarket presented 15 winners in its ‘Back to School’ promotion with their prizes at a ceremony it held recently.

In a press release the store said it chose to host the ceremony in Education Month to reinforce the importance of education to development. It said too from than 32,000 entries Ryan Samaroo of Patentia Secondary School won the first prize of a computer system.
Elton Realine of Friendship Secondary won the second prize of a $30,000 gift certificate, Nicholas Alam of North West Secondary, the third prize of a $25,000 gift certificate, Naomi Cox of St Margaret’s Primary, the fourth prize of a $20,000 gift certificate and Siedha Luckhai of Hydronie Nursery won the fifth prize of a $20,000 gift certificate.

Ten other students won haversacks and stationery.
