Martin strikes after McCullum’s double century

A New Zealand Cricket XI yesterday reduced the touring Pakistan cricketers to  234-8 in a warm-up match in Whangarei before the first Test.

Pakistan are behind the New Zealanders by 150 runs with only two wickets in hand.
Earlier, yesterday, New Zealand were dismissed for 384 with  a pugnacious 206 by Brendon McCullum the to[pscore.

When Pakistan batted Chris Martin removed Mohammad Hafeez, Taufeeq Umar and Younis Khan to leave Pakistan on  22-3 before Misbah-ul-Haq led the fightback.
He was  unbeaten on 99 at the close.

Martin has so far claimed  3-52 and Daniel Vettori 3-26.
The match ends today and the first Test starts in Hamilton on Thursday.
