Daren Ganga

The government has been in talks with national captain Daren Ganga and the president of the West Indies Players Association (WIPA), Dinanath Ramnarine, to bring the project to fruition.
Meanwhile, the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) will be meeting soon with the minister of Sport to lobby to government to honour the title winning T&T team.

Manager Omar Khan welcomed the decision, noting that the players represented T&T well. “They deserve to be honoured for their great work.”

Khan said the success was built around mental toughness. “The guys played intelligent cricket and T&T played as a company. Everyone was given a role  in achieving an overall goal and they did their work admirably.

“In every company the workers have roles and responsibility. It was the same with our team, the guys were given a plan developed by the management and they had to go out there and execute.”
