Several times during the past two weeks Mr Mark Benschop made reference to President Donald Ramotar both in the print and electronic media as the ‘Minority President.‘
Mr Benschop can continue to place his foot in his mouth but no amount of childish talk can change the situation. The PPP may be a minority government. Notwithstanding that, Donald Ramotar is President of Guyana with all the constitutional powers of that office, so there is no question of a minority presidency.
