Curtain comes down on Hadi’s City Mall softball tourney today

The curtain will come down on the Hadi’s City Mall softball competition today with the staging of the semi-finals and finals at the Ministry of Education (formerly Guyana Softball Cricket Association) ground. The tournament will commence with the staging of the semi-final matches of the male and female divisions.

In the male category, Wolf Warriors will oppose Regal while Floodlights will play Success Masters in the other semi-final.

In the women’s category, 4R Lioness will play Mike’s Wellwoman while Trophy Stall Angels will clash with Karibee Girls in the other semi-final. In the Over-40 final, Success Masters will oppose a Floodlights team.
Admission is free.

Each of the three finals carries a winning prize of $100,000 and a trophy with $50,000 and a trophy going to the runners-up.

There will also be awards for the player of the match and player of the series who will each receive $10,000 and a trophy.
The competition commenced on January 22.
