Man shot in head still hospitalised

Relatives of the young man who was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital on Monday night after a bullet grazed the side of his head yesterday remained silent on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

“We already talk to the police and we ain’t want talk to nobody else” a relative of Colin Fraser aged 18 years old and of Tucville, told Stabroek News yesterday.

Residents stated that Fraser was involved in an argument with a group of men near a football field which is in close proximity to his home, and was walking into his yard when one of the men shot at him.  He then collapsed in front of his gate and his father rushed him to the hospital.

The incident occurred sometime around 11 pm on Monday.

The Guyana Police Force while not giving details of the events stated that investigations were currently ongoing.
