Mohamed’s Enterprise and City Mall onboard Inter-Market/Municipality Futsal tournament

Mohamed’s Enterprise and City Mall have joined the number of sponsors of the Inter-Market/Municipality Futsal tournament which commences July 31 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Mohamed’s Enterprises and the City Mall last week made a donation to the tournament co-ordinator O’Neil Durant at the company’s Lombard Street location.

According to Insaf Jumrally, the company was pleased to be associated with the tournament, since it is a way of giving back to Stabroek Market where the company first commenced its business.

He added that Mohamed’s Enterprise and City Mall have been onboard with the Stabroek Warriors Sports Club from the inception of the competition two years ago and they had no hesitation in continuing with the partnership.

Durant thanked Mohamed’s Enterprise and City Mall for the generous contribution saying that it was important for the success of the tournament.
He called on other business entities to come forward and show their support.

“I am very thankful for this contribution made towards this tournament since it will play a role in the development and success of this tournament,” Durant stated.

According to the coordinator, this year’s tournament has attracted 20 teams as opposed to the previous tournament where 14 teams participated.

He also noted that teams will be coming from as far as Lethem, Parika, Wales, Mahdia and Bartica, just to name a few, to participate in the tournament which concludes on August 18.

The Inter-Market tournament was borne with a view to host a Regional Inter- Market tournament in 2014 which would give other Caribbean countries a chance to participate.
