Dear Editor,
I wish to take this opportunity to salute the Coast Guard for work well done. For too long our fisherfolk have being harassed, beaten.and robbed at sea.
It is only when the law makes examples of culprits that some of them will realize the hurt and pain they have inflicted on families. The Guyana Police Force needs to improve its patrol and service in the Pomeroon River so as to complement the GDF Coast Guard.
Once again, hats off to our prestigious army Coast Guard.
