Courts Guyana Inc made two donations in excess of $600,000 to the Guyana Fire Service last week in observance of fire prevention week.
A statement from Courts said that the Georgetown Fire Service received $509,000 while the Leonora Fire Service was the recipient of $120,000. It said that the donations were made to offset expenses for fire-fighters to travel to hinterland areas to conduct fire safety awareness programmes.
