Bakewell donates Jialing motor cycle to New Era Entertainment

A new 110cc Jailing motorcycle will be awarded to the MVP of the New Era Entertainment/Cell Smart Super Eight basketball tournament compliments of the management of Bakewell.

The formal presentation of the motorcycle was made yesterday at Bakewell’s Albert Street outlet with Aubrey Major jr receiving the motorcycle on behalf of the organizers.

The tournament, which will conclude tonight, will see Amelia’s Ward Jets battling Kings for the top prize of $200,000.

Jet’s Rodwell Pellew and Kevin Joseph with their dynamic play for the team thus far are the top contenders for the Jets while Kings’ Omally Sampson and Steve Neils Jr. are also front runners for the award.

Jacob Nanan, manager of the Nasir and Nasir conglomerate (Bakewell, Roti Hut and Pizza Boyz) was elated to be a part of the process especially since the tournament was a new addition to the basketball in Linden.

The teams finishing second, third and fourth will receive $100,000, $75,000 and $25,000 respectively.
