BK Western Tigers, led by a Malachi Adonis brace, defeated Fruta Conquerors ‘A’ 2-0 as action in the Fruta Conquerors sponsored U13 football competition continued at the Tucville Community Center ground on Saturday.
Adonis would break the early deadlock through a ninth minute strike.
Latching onto an Adrian Reed cross from the right flank, Adonis would slot home hi first time side footed strike to the bottom of the net to give his side the lead going into the half time interval.
The forward would complete his brace in the 40th minute through a powerfully struck penalty strike. upon being taken down from behind in the penalty area, Adonis would strike his effort beyond the reach of the Fruta Conquerors custodian to the top right hand corner of the goal.
In the second game, Georgetown Football Club (GFC) through a Nicholas McArthur helmet trick in the sixth, 11th, 48th and 59th minutes hammered Pele FC 5-0. Ruben Miller added to the score line through a 40th minute strike.
