The following disciplines, football, cycling, table-tennis and chess, will be contested according to the press release from National Sport Commission (NSC).

The aim of the games is to create possibilities for youths to come together and compete in different sport disciplines, focusing on better sport results and better understanding of each other culture.

The visiting team is expected to arrive on August 8.

The opening ceremony is set for the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) the following day from 10:00hrs.

The cycling will take place on the West Demerara Highway and end at the Demerara Harbour Bridhe while the table-tennis and the football matches  will be played at CASH and the Guyana Police Sports Club ground respectively.
