Plumber remanded for possession of cannabis

A plumber was remanded to prison on Monday after it was alleged that he had 55 grammes of cannabis in his possession.

The charges read by Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, alleged that on August 10 at Albouystown, Shaun Lashley, 40, had in his possession 20 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking and also at the same place he also had 35 grammes of cannabis.

Prosecutor Deniro Jones objected to bail and he was remanded.

The matter is expected to return to court on September 13 at Court One.
