The process for documents’ renewal could be made even more convenient

Dear Editor,

It is now the case that a person who wants to renew their business registration will have to go on the same date as when they applied. Last year everyone had to go at the beginning of the year, but from this year it is changed, which will make it easier for the workers at the court since they will not have such a large number of people to deal with at one time. However, with the new system it means that if one has to renew more than one business registration, he or she will have to travel to the court more than one time. That would be an inconvenience for those people who might live in Crabwood Creek when they would have to go more than once for a signature and a stamp on a simple document. One has to take it in, then come back few days later, which wastes a lot of time.

I would like to suggest the court charge a fee of a hundred or two, which could even pay for extra staff so businesspeople could collect their registrations at the same time. And there should be a way whereby if a person has more than one he can renew all of them at the same time; when one applied for a gun licence one got it back at the same time. In the case of a new passport a person should be able to travel from afar to apply for one, but his new one should be sent to his area and he or she could then pick it up from the area immigration office.

Yours faithfully,
Z Ali
