Agricola Red Triangle, led by a Gordon Grant hat trick crushed Soesdyke Falcons 5-0 when the Stag Beer/East Bank Football Association (EBFA) division-one league continued on Sunday at the Grove Community ground.
Grant opened the scoring for the winners with a 15th minute conversion. He would double his side’s lead in the 35th minute compliments of a penalty kick conversion, after his side was awarded the spot kick for an infringement within the penalty area.
It would soon become 3-0 in the 50th minute as Travis Welch found the back of the net.
It would go from bad to worse for the Soesdyke side as a Collin Holder own goal in the 70th minute made it 4-0.
The lopsided encounter and three points would be sealed as Grant completed his hat trick with an 80th minute conversion to continue his side’s unbeaten streak in the league.
