Gas station worker on bail after denying fuel theft

A gas station employee was yesterday charged after he was allegedly caught stealing from his employer.

Lennox Sampson, 62, who hails from Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that on

September 30, he stole five gallons of diesel worth $5000, belonging to Vibert Rose, owner of the Rose gas Station. Magistrate Judy Latchman granted Sampson $10,000 bail and adjourned the matter to October 29, when it will be called at the Linden Magistrates’ Court.
