GCB extends condolences to Jailall’s family

The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) has extended condolences to the family and friends of former cricket administrator Samaroo Jailall who passed away recently.

A press release seen by this publication stated: “The President, executives and members of the GCB wish to extend their solemn regards to the family and friends of Mr. Samaroo Jailall at this most unfortunate time of loss. The GCB wishes to record its sincerest thanks and appreciation to Mr. Jailall for having served the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) and the East Coast Cricket Board (ECCB) in various capacities and will surely be missed by these entities for his administrative contributions over the past years.

“It is never the right time for any family to suffer the loss of a loved one but more so during this Yuletide season, it would be most tragic for the family of Jailall. The GCB and its member boards wish to reassure the family of Jailall that he will be in our thoughts and prayers throughout the ordeal of their loss.”

Jailall will be laid to rest soon.
