Skeleton found after Sophia house falls down

The skeletal remains of a man was found in his collapsed Sophia home after he went missing four years ago.

Stabroek News understands that a house at Farmers Field, South Sophia collapsed yesterday and was in the process of being cleared when the skeletal remains were found and identified.

According to a source, the person who found the remains was removing the debris from the fallen house when he found the body. The person explained that the man assumed the remains was that of his brother since he had gone missing some four years ago.

While family members were searching for the man for years they did not inspect the house that was tightly locked since he was known for leaving abruptly for long periods of time.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for some time this week.
