Loring Benons was elected President of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Football Club when the entity staged its Electoral Congress on Wednesday at their Camp Ayanganna locale.
Benons will head a new executive which will feature Sherwin Scipio, first vice president position, Dewayne Stephen, second vice president and Troy Cordis, third vice president.
Elected Secretary was Roshelly Grandison while Pamela Julian and Monique Skeete will act in the capacity of Treasurer and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer respectively. Completing the executive in the positions of Manager and Assistant Manager are Dwaine Moses and Dwain Daniels respectively.
The army unit now joins the growing list of GFF Elite League Clubs and member associations that have staged their elections in anticipation of the GFF Electoral Congress to be held November 14th at the Marriott Hotel.
