Plaisance Guardians downed Pacesetters by a 68-65 score line in their Open Divisional fixture when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) 2015 League Championship continued on Friday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Nikkoloi Smith top scored in the win with 18 points while Trenton Woolford assisted with 13 points. For the loser, Randy Richardson netted 21 points while Travis Burnette chipped in with 13 points
In the u-23 division, Pacesetters rebounded to crush Pepsi Sonics by a 96-61 margin. Nathan Saul shot his way to 25 points while Jaleel Duke and Keon Marks supported with 21 and 10 points correspondingly.
On the other side, Lemuel Grant netted 17 points while Joshua Lee and Mikhail Broomes supported with 14 and 12 points respectively. In the second matchup of the u-23 section, Ravens downed Eagles by a 65-56 margin.
