A myriad of topics for the upcoming Flex Night 2015 competition including prize money, pre-judging, categories and attire were discussed during an athlete and organizers meeting Saturday at Olympic House.
During the meeting, Chairman of Flex Night Inc., Donald Sinclair and his team, disclosed that the third edition of the event is confirmed for December 6 at the National Cultural Centre starting at 6pm sharp.
The Flex Night Inc., committee members also revealed that the male and female athletes will vie for honours in the Men’s Physique, Bodybuilding, Miss Bikini and Miss Best Legs categories.
Bodybuilders will compete in the U143lbs, U154lbs, U165lbs, U176lbs and 176lbs and over classes while the other categories are open.
Pre-judging and weigh in will be held from 09:00hrs on the day of competition.
Registration per athlete is $1000.
Meanwhile, $200,000 will go to the overall winner of the bodybuilding segment while $150,000, $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000 will be rewarded to the respective runners up.
The sum of $100,000, $75,000 and $50,000 will be awarded to the top three athletes in the Men’s Physique, Miss Bikini and Miss Best Legs categories.
The international event is scheduled to attract athletes from neighboring Suriname and the USA.
Admission is set at $1500.
