Tucville Primary, Comenius Primary, South Ruimveldt Primary, Christ Church Secondary, Ascension Secondary, Queenstown Secondary, Saint Stanislaus College, Nehemiah Comprehensive, Central High and North Ruimveldt Multilateral schools received the furniture, the release said.

Combination chairs, tables, filing cabinets and desks were among the furniture shared to the various schools.

Public Relations Manager of the charitable organisation, Wayne Hamilton, said that the donation is part of the organisation’s continuing effort to support the education system.

Edson Joseph, teacher of the North Ruimveldt Multilateral school said in the press release that the donation would go a long way in making students comfortable especially when there are large events at the school. Tucville Primary school teacher Shanesa Seecharran said that the pupils will be more relaxed when participating in classroom activities.

Schools from other regions are expected to benefit from a similar donation during the year, the release said.
