Sports commission distributes $3M

In excess of $3M was disbursed to eight sporting associations and Help and Shelter yesterday at the National Sports Commission (NSC).

According to Director of Sport, Christopher Jones, the monies are to be used to help offset whatever expenses have been incurred or are imminent.

Jones further disclosed that “It’s essentially to remind our athletes …that we recognise the contributions that are being made and of course as a government and as a sports commission, we want to lend support and encourage them to participate in these tournaments.”
