A woman who allegedly made death threats to President David Granger has been arrested and taken into police custody.
A police source said 52-year-old Bibi Safaora Salim of East Bank Essequibo was arrested yesterday morning and is currently being questioned by the police at the Criminal Investigation Department headquarters at Eve Leary.
The threats were made in a Facebook post and triggered consternation from hundreds of Facebook users.
