A teenage boy was yesterday sentenced to 18 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to robbing a man of a smartphone.
Mawali Clark, 17, was sentenced by city magistrate Alex Moore after he pleaded guilty to robbing Randy Persaud of a Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone, valued at $55,000.
The court heard that the attack occurred on April 18, at Church Street, Georgetown.
