Buxton United, Mahaica Determinators and Ann’s Grove secured lopsided wins in the East Coast of Demerara section of National Milling Company (NAMILCO) National u17 Championship yesterday.
Staged at the Golden Grove ground, Buxton United smashed home side Golden Stars 5-0.
Tironi Semple registered a second half hat-trick in the 68th, 72nd and 75th. Contributing goals in the 25th and 55th minute were Joshua Liverpool and Kobe Durant in the 25th and 55th minute respectively.
On the other hand, Mahaica Determinators downed Bachelor’s Adventure and Paradise by a 3-0 margin. Orland Adams recorded a double in the 20th and 25th minute. Assisting with a 60th minute effort was Rickford Profitt. Meanwhile, Ann’s Grove dismantled lowly Buxton Youth Developers by a 4-0 scoreline.
Maurice Adams bagged a brace in the 42nd and 44th minute while Yohance France scored twice in the 50th and 52nd minute. The event will resume today at the same venue.
