Dear Editor,
Hail up to President David Granger and our entire APNU+AFC Political Administration…specifically Hon. Khemraj Ramjattan, Minister of Public Security, Dr George Norton, Minister of Social Cohesion and Rupert Roopnaraine, Minister of Education…Guyanese all.
Allow me please to sketch a brief outline envisioning our future – an experience for which we should be preparing ourselves – all of us – especially African Guyanese.
We must prepare ourselves for multitudes of Trump deportees from the USA.
Picture it – planeloads arriving at Timehri Airport – check the demographics on each incoming flight – lopsided numbers of Indo Guyanese. Why? Because Indians have been the ones who had the money for airfare or to pay usurious rates to backtrackers who helped them to enter the U.S. illegally…remember?
…am now hearing that ALL – all those of any race or nationality – not only Mexicans – who entered the USA illegally and held down jobs using bogus identities – will be routed and sent packing.
America is sending back ‘your huddled masses’.
Just imagine what an impact that picture…just painted would have on our national elections? Do you too fear for Guyana’s future…see it etched on the horizon through the prism (https://en.wikipedia.org) of Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo’s hegemonic vision; that megalomaniac who can’t wait to take us for a ride back to where we left his now defunct PPP/C governing plantation – this time with engines and wheels well-greased with oil?
Gentlemen (and ladies) of the APNU+AFC administration – Guyanese all – this is ‘an inconvenient truth’ as frightening for our social environment as the prospect of climate change is for the ecosystem.
