A fourth person has been charged with the murder of taxi driver Orin David, who was gunned down on August 1st, 2016.
Ex-soldier Jermaine Jefford was yesterday read a charge which stated that on August 1st, 2016, at Laing Avenue, he murdered Orin David.
The 24-year-old defendant was not required to plea to the charge.
Jefford, of 115 Block X Diamond, East Bank Demerara, was subsequently remanded to prison by Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
His next court date is February 15th, when he is due to appear before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
Howard Rambharose, Samuel McIntyre and Reagus Lamazon have already been charged with the murder.
