Topp XX, led by a Ryan Noel hat-trick, mauled Silver Shattas 3-0, when the Upper Demerara Football Association [UDFA] Senior League, continued on Sunday at the Mackenzie Sports Club [MSC] ground, Linden.
The burly midfielder opened the scoring after the first half ended scoreless compliments of a 55th minute conversion.
Latching onto a Keon Hall pass, Noel placed his effort into the right corner from the top of the 18-yard box. Noel made his presence felt once more, doubling his side’s lead in the 83rd minute.
Racing into the six-yard area, Noel slotted his effort into the back of the net, after receiving a pass from Rudy Halley.
The scoreline was then completed in the 87th minute, as Halley was brought down inside the penalty box.
Tasked with the responsibility from the distance, Noel sealed his hat-trick with aplomb, as he clinically fired his effort past the opposing custodian.
Meanwhile, Amelia’s Ward Panthers and Winners Connection battled to a scoreless draw.
