The eighth edition of the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB), Noble House Seafoods goals galore open indoor hockey tournament will chirp off tomorrow at the National Gymnasium.
The competition will feature nine competing teams in the men’s category and six in the women’s. GCC Vintage are the male defending champions and are expected to be tested by arch-rivals Pepsi Hikers.
On the women’s side, GCC Tigers will come up against the usually competitive Old Fort outfit and emerging Bingo GCC Spartans unit.
The opening fixture will see Tigers beginning their title defence against Spartans from 17:30hrs; following that, Vintage will also begin their title defence against Old Fort Champs.
