The Guyana Boxing Association will be staging the Andrew Lewis National Novices Championship from this Friday.
According to reports, the three-day event will be staged at the National Gymnasium and fight time each night is scheduled for 19:30hrs.
The gyms expected to participate are Young Achievers, Vergenoogen, Forgotten Youth Foundation, GDF, Pocket Rocket, Rosehall Jammers, Carryl Boxing Gym, and the Savanah Boxing Gym of Lethem.
The Guyana Defence Force is the defending champion.
