LA Ballers, Dave & Celina All-Stars, Haynes Hitters, High Rollers and Silver Bullets recorded contrasting wins, when the 6th edition of the New Era Entertainment/Mohamed’s Enterprise Futsal Tournament continued on Saturday.

Staged at the Mackenzie Sports Club [MSC] ground, Linden, LA Ballers defeated West Side Ballers 8-5.

Nicholas Arthur amassed five goals while Cecil Jackman bagged a double and Tevin Curry scored once. Wesley Greenidge led the loser with a hat-trick while Stephon Jupiter scored a brace.

Similarly, Dave & Celina All-Stars defeated Trendsetters 5-2. Kevin Layne and Tevin McKenzie scored two goals apiece while Darren Fraser recorded a conversion.

For the loser, Delon Luke and Kevon Prince netted one goal apiece. Likewise, Haynes Hitters downed Capital Storm 5-2. Ronaldo Dover tallied a hat-trick while Tevin Thompson and Nathan Gentle scored one each. For the loser, Roydell Arthur and Okocha Peters scored.

Meanwhile, High Rollers defeated Royal Warriors 4-2. Jonah Simon bagged a brace, while Jehu Regis and Omar Williams recorded solitary conversions respectively. Sherlock Phillips and Emmanuel Swanning recorded consolation goals.

Also, Silver Bullets edged Higher Level 3-2. Robin Adams bagged a double while Kendolph Lewis scored once. For the loser, Colwyn Drakes and Dellon McAllister recorded goals.

On Friday at the same venue, Hard-Knocks, Achievers and West Side Connection secured wins. Hard-Knocks crushed Mines All-Stars 8-3.

National players Colin Nelson and Pernell Schultz registered hat-tricks, while Trenton Lashley smashed a double. For the loser, Kevin Charles scored twice, while Heathland Thom scored once.

Similarly, West Side Connection defeated Haynes Hitters 6-1. Shane Luckie recorded a hat-trick, with Denzil Pryce adding a brace and Deshawn Joseph scoring once. Ronaldo Dover scored for the loser.

High Rollers downed Red Line 5-2. Omar Brewley bagged a hat-trick, with Jehu Regis and Antoine Gill scoring one goal each.

Likewise, Achievers brushed aside Capital Storm 8-2. Shamar Jones recorded a helmet-trick while Colin Peters netted twice. Ravin Naughton and Wayne Wilson scored one goal each.

Akeem Singh and Okocha Peters recorded consolation goals. Meanwhile, NK Ballers defeated Dave & Celina’s All-Stars via walkover, while Capital Strikers defeated Quiet Storm via the identical route.

The event features 18 teams divided into four groups. Group-A consists of West Side Ballers, Nutt-man All-Stars, LA Ballers and Hard-Knocks, while Young Achievers, Capital Strikers, Germans United and West Side Connection comprises group-B

Group-C features Silver Bullets, High Rollers, Red Line and Higher Level, while group-D contains Capital Storm, NK Ballers, Quiet Storm, Trend-Setters and Dave & Celina’s All-Stars.

The event will be played in an initial round-robin format, with the top two finishers from each section progressing to the quarterfinals stage.

$600,000 and a trophy will be awarded to the winner, with the second, third and fourth place finishers copping $250,000, $100,000 and $50,000 respectively.
