People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) parliamentarian Alister Charlie is adamantly denying accusations that he behaved inappropriately resulting in questioning by the police yesterday in Lethem.
Commander of F division Senior Superintendent Kevin Adonis confirmed to Stabroek News that police in the area were investigating a complaint and that Charlie had been questioned.
When contacted by this newspaper the parliamentarian denied all aspects of the allegation.
