Junior national lawn tennis ace, Vadeanand Resaul, continues to put up a good showing in the COTECC Trinidad Summer Bowl Under – 14 championships in the Twin Island Republic after securing quarter-final places in both the singles and doubles categories, yesterday.
Resaul in his round of 16 match, accounted for Trinidadian Zechariah Permell 4/0, 4/0. He then secured his place in today’s quarters after he outworked Nathem Martin 2-1. The Guyanese dropped the first set 1-6 and rebounded well in the 45-minute contest to win the next two sets 7/5, 6/1.
Resaul in the doubles, teamed up with Martin and down Callum Koylass and Permell 6/3, 6/3 to land their quarter-final spot.
The championship continues today.
