A mother is seeking the public’s assistance to find her son, who has been missing for about two months.
According to Lynette McKay, Ijhafar John, 20, of ‘A’ Field, Sophia, has been missing since leaving their home one morning. John, who suffers from mental illness, did not say where he was going.
On the day he left home, McKay said, John was wearing a checkered shirt with a khaki pants and he had a black bag on his back.
McKay said she has filed a missing person’s report at the Turkeyen Police Station but is yet to hear any positive word from police on the whereabouts of the young man.
McKay noted that John has been receiving psychiatric treatment for a few years and would also be administered medication.
She further noted that John can also be identified by a broken middle finger on his right hand, which has been left straight, and a burn on his left shoulder.
