Eighth annual Pee Wee U11 football competition gets cracking today

The 2019 Courts Pee Wee U11 football competition will commence today at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

In the opening matches from 13:00hrs, Timehri Panthers will oppose St. Ambrose and St. Agnes will  battle Beterverwagting [BV].

From 13:50hrs, Uitvlugt will tackle Ann’s Grove and Soesdykewill  match skills with FE Pollard from 13:50hrs.

At 14:40hrs, Mocha will engage Tucville and South Ruimveldtwill  take aim at Genesis while St. Pius  will face-off with Ma’es and West Ruimveldt will tackle Craig from 15:30hrs.

In the final four matches, Marian Academy battles St. Margaret and Enterprise opposes Smith Memorial from 16:20hrs while St. Stephens tackles JE Burnham and North Ruimveldt engages Redeemer at 17:10hrs.

The 24-team event, which is in its eighth year, will conclude on November 2nd. 

The respective teams will be divided into six groups of four. The top two finishers from each section and the four best third placed teams will advance to the elimination round.
