Guyana’s Dorado Speed Swim Club produced another stunning effort on the penultimate day of the 2019 Amateur Swimming Association of Trinidad and Tobago Invitational Meet to significantly increase their medal haul. 

Leading the way was golded boy Elliott Gonsalves who splashed his way to his third gold medal of the meet after winning the boys 11-12 400m Individual Medley event. His countryman, Stephen Ramkhelawan, walked away with bronze. 

 Gonsalves, later in the evening, collected silver in the boys 11-12 50m Breaststroke event.

National dipper Raekwon Noel also captured gold on Friday evening, winning the boys 13-14 400m Individual Medley while Vladimir Woodroffe outswam the field to take top honours in the boys 11-12 200m Backstroke race.    Monique Watson was the lone girl to medal on the day after she snatched silver in the girls 11-12 200m Backstroke event as Daniel Scott snapped up third at the end of the boys 15 years and under  200m Freestyle race. 

The Guyanese club crowned off the evening with an exciting performance which saw the boys 11-12 4 x 50m medley relay team comprising Alex Bentham, Gonsalves, Woodroffe, and Stephen Ramkhelawan storming their way to gold.
