The Lusignan Golf Club will today host the third A&R Jiwanram Printery tournament with the country’s best golfers looking to get back in the groove.
With suitable weather and the greens in perfect condition the golfers will look to capitalize and press to better the performance of last year’s champions. Playing in three Flights, Mike Mangal won the A Flight while Ayube Subhan and Maxim ‘Danny’ Mangra won the B and C Flights respectively.
Like last week’s year-opening tournament, the medal-play format will be used and will determine whether the Flights division will be used depending on the number of golfers.
If played under the Flight system prizes will be awarded to the top two best Net scores, while if under the non-Flight system, prizes may be awarded to the first four Best Net scores. Specialty prizes are usually Best Gross, Longest Drive and nearest The Pin prizes.
Regular tournament tee-off time is 12:30 p.m., but for any group of golfers who have a preference for an earlier start, accommodation will be made for as early as an 8am start, as long as the tournament organizers are informed.
